Who we are

Dellstar VR Wellness & Co. is a forward-facing company using immersive technology to reshape how mental health, education, and workforce training are delivered and experienced. What began as an entertainment business has evolved into a mission-driven venture focused on expanding access to wellness and opportunity, particularly for individuals and communities that have historically been underserved.

The company was founded by Adell Badgett, a South Bend native who first entered the VR space by launching a stationary virtual reality arcade. That venture laid the groundwork for his next move: building a 30-foot mobile gaming unit, taking VR directly into neighborhoods, schools, and community events. Through that work, Adell witnessed the emotional and cognitive impact immersive environments could have on people, especially those dealing with stress, trauma, or limited access to mental health resources.

That insight led to the creation of Dellstar VR Wellness & Co., a new branch of the business designed to use virtual reality as a tool for therapy, emotional regulation, skill-building, and educational engagement.

What We Do

Dellstar VR Wellness & Co. develops and deploys virtual reality solutions that address core needs in mental health, personal development, and workforce readiness. The company is actively building systems and partnerships to bring immersive support directly to the people who need it most.

Why We Show Up

Dellstar VR Wellness & Co. operates on the belief that access to support should not depend on zip code, income, or background. The company exists to close the gap between people and the resources that can help them grow, emotionally, professionally, and mentally.

Adell Badgett Founder & CEO’s own experience, from losing his job during the COVID-19 pandemic, to rebuilding his life through entrepreneurship, to prioritizing his own mental health, informs every layer of the work. Dellstar is more than a business. It’s a reflection of what’s possible when innovation and empathy drive the mission.

One of the biggest barriers in modern therapy is the loss of real engagement, especially now that most sessions happen over video. VR helps restore that connection. Instead of staring at a screen, clients can meet their therapist in immersive spaces like loft studios, luxury cabins, peaceful parks, or mountaintop overlooks. These environments feel natural, engaging, and stigma-free, helping clients overcome the unrealistic expectations many of us grew up with about what therapy “should” look like. With VR, we bring back the presence, comfort, and interaction that virtual care has been missing.

Where We’re Headed

Dellstar VR Wellness & Co. is currently developing a first-of-its-kind virtual reality mental health platform, an immersive digital ecosystem that brings together therapy access, emotional wellness content, and job training simulations in one unified experience.

Future plans include:

  • A proprietary VR platform built from scratch to support real-time therapy, wellness exercises, and educational tools

  • Deployment of VR wellness pods in schools, correctional systems, workforce agencies, and community centers

  • A service model that combines fee-for-service, insurance-based billing, and subscription options to maximize access and sustainability

This next phase is not a shift in direction, it’s the natural evolution of a mission that has been unfolding since the very first headset powered on inside Adell Badgett’s original arcade.
