Training Program Refund Policy:

Dellstar VR provides Entry Level Driver Training for students pursuing a Class B Commercial Driver’s License. This refund policy applies to students enrolled in the Dellstar VR ELDT Class B Training Program.

Dellstar VR follows the refund standards established by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Office for Career and Technical Schools.

Students may receive a full refund if they cancel within six business days after signing the enrollment agreement or application, do not meet the program’s admission requirements, were enrolled due to misrepresentation in written materials, or withdraw within three days after visiting the training location, attending orientation, or attending the first scheduled class.

After instruction begins, refunds are based on the portion of the program completed:

  • Students attending one week or less may receive a 90 percent refund.

  • Students attending more than one week and up to 25 percent of the program may receive a 75 percent refund.

  • Students attending more than 25 percent and up to 50 percent of the program may receive a 50 percent refund.

  • Students attending more than 50 percent and up to 60 percent of the program may receive a 40 percent refund.

  • Students attending more than 60 percent of the program are not eligible for a refund.

Any allowable application or enrollment fee may be deducted from the refund, not to exceed 10 percent of total tuition or $100, whichever is less.

Any separate third-party costs, testing fees, permit fees, medical examination fees, or other non-tuition charges paid directly by the student to outside agencies are not controlled by Dellstar VR and are subject to the refund policies of those outside agencies.

Approved refunds will be issued no later than 31 days after Dellstar VR receives the student’s written cancellation or withdrawal request.

If Dellstar VR cancels or reschedules a cohort and the student does not transfer to a future cohort, the student will receive a refund of payments made to Dellstar VR for that cohort.
